Please do a function for remotes where we can blackout their screens so they dont see what were doing, and a kill switch to make them stop moving their mouse while im trying to fix their computer issues, that so annoying.

Hi myr
Very interesting set of features and functions you have brought to the table.
Looking at them I can currently give you the following answers: -
a) Registry
This is coming to our Remote Tools section inside Endpoint Manager and as dev reference ITA-125.
b) Event Logs
This is also coming to our Remote Tools section inside Endpoint Manager with dev reference ITA-124.
c) Command/PShell
We already have this in Remote Tools which is located inside Endpoint Manager.
e) Services
We already have this in Remote Tools which is located inside Endpoint Manager.
f) Chat
This is being researched at the moment to find the best way of doing this as we are looking at having this is Remote Desktop (New name for Remote Control) as well as our Remote Tools.
g) Take Screenshot
Not thought about this yet, maybe you can provide some more ideas to what is needed / required here to make this useful for you?
h) Black Out Screen
This is in development with dev reference of ITA-121
Hopefully this helps and shows we have a lot on the way!
Regards
Robin

Robin: The features that are present in Endpoint Manager should also be there in Remote tools for ease of operation and tech support can do it without switching windows, Our earlier request was to put remote screen within web view of Endpoint Manager but we were told that it would be expensive. The screenshot feature is used to take screenshot of an issue which L1 engineers capture and report to the L2 and L3 teams. Actually I wanted to write screen recording but wrote screenshot but either of that will be helpful.

myr: I'm not sure who you have been speaking to, but when it comes to ITarian development and choices the decision lands with me and my team.
We have a web version of our remote control hopefully coming in December, was meant to be earlier this year but we found many technical limitations meaning we had to change a lot of backend structure for this to work.
Most of the other features mentioned above are now in the system, if not about to be released.
I'll close this thread now as it is a little confusing on what is what as there any requests.
If we have missed anything above that you feel we need please open a request per feature so we can discuss and grab the requirements in full for assessment.

Robin: I speak to ilgaz and others from Xcitium team. The features were requested in the UI of the Remote Control App as that was the only means of connecting to the remote desktop. If you say that all of these can be now done from the web then it should be fine. The issue was few things needed to be done from app and others from the web. So it was back and forth for the support teams between the two windows.

myr: please be aware that Ilgaz is Xcitium product manager and has no say in what features ITarian develop and release.
As they are a sister company of ITarian we do give them special treatment, but still go through the same process that we do for our end customers.
After our December release please try all features again and let us if anything is missed or not working as expected as the request on here is long, mixed with many features and different from Xcitium request to us.
